Features

Medical gas CAD take-off tools in one Windows app.

MedGasCAD keeps measurement, pressure loss checking, counting, and report export close to the PDF drawings you are reviewing.

Measurement take-off

Draw line and polyline measurements over PDF plans, organise quantities by system and pipe size, and export material summaries.

Text and object counters

Scan drawings for repeated labels and count selected objects so schedules and symbols are easier to quantify.

Pressure loss calculations

Create routes, assign flows, review HTM 02-01 based segment calculations, and generate route reports for medical gas pressure loss checking.

Reference tables and curves

View pressure loss tables and curve graphs inside the app, including HTM 02-01 table data and extrapolated values where needed.

Project files

Save drawing tabs, systems, pipe sizes, label settings, calibration, take-off data, and pressure loss routes into a project file.

Excel exports

Produce spreadsheet reports for project-wide take-off totals and pressure loss summaries for downstream review.

Workflow

From drawing review to report output.

MedGasCAD is designed for repeated drawing work: open PDFs, calibrate each drawing, measure systems, check routes, and export usable reports without rebuilding the same information in separate tools.

  1. Open drawings Load project PDFs and keep each sheet organised in tabs.
  2. Measure and count Use measurements, text counters, and object counters for quantity take-off.
  3. Calculate pressure loss Build routes, check design flows, and review HTM 02-01 based pressure loss results.
  4. Export reports Create Excel and print-view reports for project records and checking.
